My Skincare Routine

My mom told me once that you need to start taking care of your skin at a young age and she is SO right.

I’ve always struggled with finding the right products because I have SUPER dry skin and acne. I can’t tell you how much money I’ve spent on trying to finding skincare products that work on my skin. After years and years of trial and error these 4 products have made their way into my bathroom permanently making my skin glow.

1. Versed Day Dissolve Cleansing Balm

This is always my first step unless I’m not wearing makeup. I found this product on one of my many Target trips and I’ve never gone back to makeup wipes.  This truly removes ALL my makeup and hydrates my skin. Plus it smells amazing and they don’t test on animals!

2. Aveda Botanical Kinetics Purifying Creme Cleanser

Yes I double cleanse. Only because the cleansing balm leaves  a little of a greasy feeling (this is on my skin,  may be different for you). I have super dry skin and this cleanser hydrates and cleans my skin so win win for me. It’s made from all natural ingredients and it’s the only cleanser I’ve used that doesn’t leave a tight feeling on my skin after.

3. Mario Badescu Alpha Grapfruit Cleansing Lotion

Toner is basically a primer for your skin before you apply moisturizer. This toner is infused with Aloe so it’s great for my dry skin and it balances the pH of my skin which is super important.

4. Cetaphil  Moisturizing Lotion

I love this moisturizer. 1-2 pumps of this for me and my  skin feels baby smooth.  Finding the right moisturizer has always been a struggle for me but this one helps tremendously with my acne and when I wake up  my  skin is so hydrated I  almost  forget I have dry  skin.

These products have literally saved my (skincare) life! My main focus is hydration and these 4 products definitely deliver. Finding the right products is always a guessing game and can be frustrating sometimes and sticking to a routine is hard. Your skin will thank you in the long run trust me!
